Diecast brands each specialise: Hot Wheels in 1:64, Maisto and Bburago in 1:24 and 1:18, Kinsmart in 1:32 pull-backs. Knowing who makes what tells you what a box will contain before you open it — and why two 1:24 cars can differ four-fold in price.

Maisto and Bburago are the default for a licensed 1:24 or 1:18 collection — consistent quality, real badges, opening bonnets with modelled engines. Welly gives licensed models cheaper with slightly less detail. Jada is for movie and tuner cars. Hot Wheels and Matchbox own 1:64; see Hot Wheels vs generic.
Che Zhi, Jinlifang, XLG, Xuye, HCF, Chimei and similar factories make the 1:24 and 1:32 'style' SUVs, supercars and classics that fill Pakistan's toy markets — including most of the 84 diecast cars at cartoys.pk. Quality is often close to Welly at a third of the price: zinc bodies, opening doors, LED lights and engine sound. What you give up is the badge and the exact proportions. The factory code (CZ186, 1901-404, K240A4) is the 'model name' and is printed on every product page so you can find the same car again.
Whichever you choose, the scale guide matters more than the brand for how the shelf ends up looking.
For licensed 1:24 and 1:18: Maisto and Bburago. For 1:64: Hot Wheels. For value: Welly and Kinsmart. The unbranded style makers common in Pakistan are fine for play and children's collections.
They are sister brands with similar quality. Bburago holds the Ferrari licence; Maisto has a wider range of everyday and American cars. Choose by the model you want.
Mostly Chinese style makers — Che Zhi, Jinlifang, Xuye, HCF and others — sold through wholesalers in Lahore and Rawalpindi, plus imported Maisto, Welly and Hot Wheels at higher prices.
