2WD drives two wheels, 4WD drives all four. On a smooth floor both work; on grass, gravel or a drift circuit the difference is obvious. Of the 171 RC cars at cartoys.pk, most sports cars are 2WD and most drift cars and off-road trucks are 4WD.

A drift is a controlled slide. With hard tyres and power to all four wheels, the driver can hold the car sideways through a corner and steer it out. A 2WD car with hard tyres just spins. That is why nearly every serious RC drift car is labelled 4WD.
Grass and gravel offer little grip. Two driven wheels dig in; four keep the truck moving and let it climb. A 4WD monster truck can cross a lawn; a 2WD one mostly cannot. On rock crawlers, 4WD plus high ground clearance is the whole point.
Indoor use on tile or wood, a child under 8, a budget under PKR 5,000, or a racing car where straight-line speed matters more than grip. 2WD cars are lighter, cheaper and run longer on a charge. Most of the race car toys under PKR 6,000 are 2WD and perfectly good for a driveway.
On toy RC cars, yes. 4x4 is borrowed from real trucks and sellers use it interchangeably with 4WD. Neither guarantees a locking differential or any off-road engineering — check the ground clearance and tyre size, not just the badge.
Flip the car over: a 4WD car has a driveshaft or gear train running to the front axle. 2WD has bare front wheels on a steering knuckle. If you cannot see it, the specifications on the cartoys.pk product page state the drive type. The best RC cars under PKR 10,000 guide flags which are 4WD.
Better on grass, gravel, carpet and for drifting. Not better for a smooth indoor floor, a young child, or a tight budget — 2WD is lighter, cheaper and runs longer on a charge.
Most are, and the ones worth buying for outdoor use are. Some budget 'monster' cars under PKR 5,000 are 2WD with big wheels — fine indoors, weak outdoors. The product page states the drive type.
Not in top speed — that is the motor and battery. 4WD launches harder from a stop and keeps speed on loose surfaces, which feels faster in use.
