Every band from PKR 1,000 to 20,000 has a genuinely good toy car in it — the trick is knowing which type is good at each price. A PKR 1,000 pull-back pack beats a PKR 1,000 RC car; a PKR 8,000 drift car beats a PKR 8,000 diecast for most children.

The first real RC car — see best under 5,000. For 5–8 year olds, a stunt twist car is the better toy at the top of this band.
The sweet spot. A 4WD drift car with spares covers ages 7 to 14. See best under 10,000. For a collector, a 1:24 diecast with lights and sound.
